Beginning with the establishment of Lentera Angin Nusantara in 2011 which was initiated by Ricky Elson at Ciheras Village in Tasikmalaya. Lentera angin nusantara which have the vision to light up all the dark side of Indonesia with renewable energy through technopreneur. All activities are finally done and because of the hard work Ciheras Village has become a village which called "Sky Dancer" that have four units of  500W wind turbine whose also the largest in Southeast Asia. In 2015, the LAN developed itself in the social and economic aspec. Lentera Bumi Nusantra (LBN) had been formed and it has four divisions namely Lentera Agri Nusantara (LAGN), Lentera Nano Nusantara (LNN), Lentera EV Nusantara and Lentera Angin Nusantara.
Lentera Agri Nusantara develops agricultural resources in Ciheras from the livestock resource, horticulture, and spices. Oleofirst Organic was formed after Lentera Agri Nusantara started pioneering the processing of herb and spices. This start up was established since February 21st, 2016 and has the principle of sociopreneur and uses a fair trade system to help improve the welfare of Indonesian farmers.
The Oleofirst Organic is motivated by our concern to Indonesian spice farmers who cannot optimally enjoy their harvest. Indonesian farmers produce very large quantities of herb and spices in each harvest period, it is in contrass with the farmers income. Besides the low price of herbs and spices, farmers also have any problems during the distribution process and simplicia processing. Those problems causing the high level of food loss which impact on the fewer harvest produsct. Another problem comes from the quality of Indonesian herbs and spices that are largely not organically produced. Thats ultimately limit the marketing of herbs and spices.
Therefore Oleofirst Organic has an idea to solve the problem and help the Indonesian herbs and spices farmers by developing integrated extraction technology consisting of hammer herb grinder with 30 kg capacity for one mill, a stratified water-based distillation machine that can easily be operated by farmers with the available resources, and biodigester for the composting the non-spice biomass. Organic Oleofirst also conducts integrated training and monitoring in every production line to ensurance the product become high quality product in accordance with food safety procedures established by SNI and HACCP. Quality control is done starting from handling of raw materials, production process and quality control finish good including organoleptic test and proximate from resulted products.
The products made by the collaboration between the herb and spice farmer. Our product are essential oil, oleoresin, pure powder and functional foods which are by-products of extracting process, and non-spice biomass composes which will be used for the process of spice cultivation. Thus created zero waste system.
Oleofirst has a vision to realize essential oil for essential life by using a fair trade system for spice farmers by directly involving farmers in processing and guaranteeing the quality of the products they produce. Furthermore Oelofirst organic role in finding the target market, packaging, branding and market products from the natural wealth of Indonesia be more broadly.
Until now Oleofirst organic has cooperated with Lentera bumi nusantara and facilitated more than 30 farmers in Ciheras, West Java with this system. Oleofirst organic has been earned household industry licensing (PIRT) has also been obtained with no PIRT 207320602078120 and halal certification has been submitted and awaiting the certificate. The average turnover earned is 300% of the price of raw materials with domestic, nasinal and international market segments.
The last but not least Oleofirst organic always committed to the fair trade system and always  strive to be able to improve the welfare of spice farmers in Indonesia and become sustainable life in accordance with our vision essential oil for essential life.
